RingSurf.com

Just a quick reminder that this network is now operating independently of RingSurf.com.

We closed our account with RingSurf because we were not happy with the service that the company provided. Some of our members also complained about the amount of commercial advertising that RingSurf placed on our page.

If you are still displaying one of our old badges, which includes the words "POWERED BY RINGSURF", please get in touch as soon as possible.

Blogs for deletion

As explained in an earlier post, the administrators are doing a bit of late spring cleaning.

We are planning to remove several blogs that are no longer displaying reciprocal links to this network.

Please get in touch as soon as possible if you want to save your blog from deletion!

Late spring cleaning!

Over the next week we will be removing all the defunct blogs from our membership list.

We are also planning to remove any blog that is no longer displaying a valid reciprocal link. Please get in touch if you want the HTML code to enable you to put our new badge on your blog.

Reciprocal links

To help publicise the UK and Eire Natural History Bloggers network, we ask each member to post a reciprocal link on his/her blog. This can be a simple text link to http://uknhb.blogspot.com or, if you prefer, we can send you a snippet of HTML code which will enable you to display one of our badges.

No longer powered by Ringsurf

We have now closed our account with Ringsurf.com. A few members may find that this means that the 'UK & Eire Natural History Bloggers' badge no longer appears on their blogs. If you experience this problem, please drop us a line. Thanks.

We need your help

Please help us to publicise the UK and Eire Natural History Bloggers network by posting a link on your blog.

This can be a simple text link to http://uknhb.blogspot.com/ or, if you prefer, we can send you a snippet of HTML code which will enable you to display our new badge.

A few members are still displaying our old badges, which link to our defunct page at Ringsurf.com. Please get in touch and we will send you the code for our new badge.

Please note that we plan to close our account with Ringsurf.com at the end of March 2011.
